Community Goals & Guidelines
Welcome to the envision community platform! This is a space to be used for peer-to-peer sharing, collaboration, and networking. This space is dedicated to exploring CHW-related topics and building community with CHWs and CHW allies.
Goals:
The goals of our community are to:
- Offer a dedicated space for CHWs to network, share, build community, and thrive
Defer to and respect CHW wants and needs for this space
Encourage further support through the CHW ally and CCR-2109 Recipient spaces
Guidelines:
To meet the collective goals of our community and to ensure that everyone has the best possible experience, please review our community guidelines:
- Speak with care. Act with honesty and empathy, using each interaction to build community.
- We are committed to creating a brave space for discussion. Take responsibility for the conversations you participate in. If you learn that something you said was perceived as disrespectful or marginalizing, pause to listen to and learn from that perspective before reacting. Reflect on how you could act in the future.
- Respect the privacy and personal wishes of other community members.
- Reach out to community moderators for support.

Legal:
envision is a collaboration of expert community health workers (CHWs) and CHW allies working out of the UW-Madison Population Health Institute (UWPHI), the Center for Community Health Alignment (CCHA), Louisiana State University (LSU), Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS), and Kinetic Health. myenvison is hosted by UWPHI.
myenvision’s status as a public institution affiliate also means that its moderators must comply with certain legal requirements when responding to complaints from group members about a post or requests for posts or comments to be removed. With limitations on what moderators can remove, we focus on responding with additional information and resources for members to consider in the alternative.
